Vincent

There they are. Vincent thought as he hid behind a tree in the forrest, looking down on where his prey was having a picnic. There she sat, all happy and carefree, playing a card game with her new friends. He scowled. If it wasn't for those idiots,  she would be out here all alone, and he could make his move...

"Well, that's cheaper." Meriah said, picking up a card and putting another one down. Almost there... I just need a five, or an eight would be great.

"Cheaper? Why did you say cheaper?" Katara was with them, but Dante was no where in sight. No one seemed to know where exactly he was either, not even Katara. She is so weird.

Destiny laughed. "It's a Meriah thing. You wouldn't understand."  She made her move and glanced over at Axel. He was play fighting with Conner, and he was winning of corse. Look at how strong he is, swinging his big sword so swiftly around and...

Oh how annoying it is to be able to hear what those stupid little peasents are thinkning! Vincent thought angerly. I could take out the boys first, start with the scrawny one and then use his sword to take out the rest. The only person I needed alive is the princess, and with the others out of the way it would be only too easy to take her and deliver her to the Master... especially since I figured out that her weakness is-

"Shiznick!" yelled out Conner triumphantly as he swung at Axel. I got him this time!

"Would you stop that?!" said Axel.

"Why? I like that word." replied Conner.

Axel rolled his eyes and said nothing. Because it's a stupid word made up by some stupid girl that we only just met! Vincent smiled at his anger, then suddenly clutched his head in pain. His eyes went vacant as he saw a vision of the future.
"Are you sure you're ok?" It was the red haired girl, and she was talking to the sorceress. As usual in his visions, their voices were low and the picture was hazy, but it was good enough for him to tell what was going on. They were inside the girl's house, and the red head and her brown haired friend were leaving. Leaving the princess unprotected. This was the perfect moment for him to snatch up his prize. If only he knew when this would happen! He would have to watch her constantly...

"Yeah, I'll be fine. I just need to lay down." The girl replied.

"We shouldn't be too long." The brown hair girl replied. The princess walked back into her small dwelling and closed the door behind her friends, and on Vincent's vision.

Vincent shook his head to clear it as he came back to reality. He realized that he had to report back, but he had to stay to keep an eye on the girl. What if his vision was to happen later today? Perhaps right after the picnic? He couldn't risk missing it, and so he had to stay and sit through the torture of listening to every single little frivolus thought that came across these simpleton's minds. If only he could turn it off for a mere minute! He would welcome the silence.

"I'm really glad you guys taught me this game. It's really fun." Katara said, picking up a card. "Oooh! I'm out!" she exclaimed, laying down all her cards.

"Seriously, Katara? That's three hands in a row!" Destiny laughed.

"Ah, this game is fun, but i like tag better." said Meriah, grinning at her sister.

"Tag?" asked Katara, "Why tag?"

"Because she always cheated!" said Destiny, pointing at her sister.

"It's not my fault you were too slow!"

"It wasn't fair that you could fly!" The girls all laughed.

Vincent sighed. How much longer must he endure this? Just then another voice came into his mind. A female voice. Where am I? Oh, my head. Why did that stupid wizard have to knock me out to be able to transport me here?

The voice was getting louder; it's owner was getting closer. He had to hide. He darted away so that he wouldn't be seen, but if he strained he could still hear what they were thinking. Unfortunately, he couldn't hear what they were actually saying, but their thoughts should give him enough information to figure out what was going on.

There she is... My baby... My Meriah...
